Michelle Servin
I am a first-generation recent graduate growing real estate and planning professional. I am passionate about building equitable, sustainable, and accessible built environments through housing, landscaping, and community spaces. I am interested in development, real estate, community engagement, and similar fields.
I have completed my BA at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Geography/Environmental Studies with a minor in Chican@ Studies, and a minor in Geospatial Information Systems & Technologies (GIS). Here, I participated in various research programs as well as community organizing, highlighting the importance of bridging community and academia/data.
I have also completed my Master's degree at USC Price School of Public Policy in Urban Planning with a concentration in Design of the Built Environment and Housing and Real Estate Development certifications. I am passionate towards building just cities and providing access to socio-economic resources and skills. During my masters program, I interned at an affordable housing developer where i assisted on several projects at different stages of the development process. I have been introduced to all stages in the development process including acquisitions, design, construction closings, construction management, etc.. I am open and eager to expand and apply my knowledge and work toward my goal of being an expert project manager.
